<div class="NewsPara">Meet a new update for our iGrid ActiveX control. It fixes bugs that mainly relate to keyboard operations and combo box cells. The fixes are made in both Classic Edition and Modern Edition of the control for 32/64 bits.</div>

Notably, the introduction of the PreKeyDown and PreKeyUp events has streamlined iGrid's internal architecture, enhancing its robustness and independence from the hosting platform.</div>

<div class="NewsPara">The second update for the WinForms grid control includes enhancements aimed at improving resource usage. This update also addresses bugs identified since the previous update.</div>
<div class="NewsPara">The product documentation has been amended. Enhanced documentation pages include the description of the column auto width features of iGrid.NET, detailing the ability to automatically adjust column widths to fit cells in normal columns and row text cells.</div>

<div class="NewsHeader">10Tec and AlterNET Software join forces</div>

<div class="NewsPara">10Tec is excited to announce the successful completion of its merger with AlterNET Software, an Australian company known for developing cutting-edge software components and tools. The partnership between 10Tec and AlterNET dates back several years, with 10Tec already incorporating AlterNET components into its products. For example, the AlterNET Code Editor is a key control used in the DocMounter utility for documenting .NET assemblies.</div>
<div class="NewsPara">The merger process, which began in 2024, has now been finalized. Moving forward, both companies will leverage their combined experience to enhance existing products and create new ones.</div>
<div class="NewsPara">The rights to 10Tec products are now owned by AlterNET, which is also responsible for selling them. 10Tec's current product line will continue to evolve as planned, maintaining the same high quality of implementation and support service.</div>

<div class="NewsPara">We decided to gather all recent hot bug fixes in our ActiveX grid control and publish them as one service update for both editions to make all customers happy with the most stable fresh version of the product before the new year 2025. This cumulative update fixes an important issue with column reordering in the 64-bit version of iGrid and some problems with combo box cells in 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Modern iGrid. It is highly recommended to update Modern iGrid to the latest version on developer and end-user computers. As always, these and other changes are detailed in the What's New document for the product.</div>

<div class="NewsHeader">Great news: 64-bit iGrid ActiveX with improvements available</div>

<div class="NewsPara">Today we have very good news for all iGrid ActiveX users: we have released the long-awaited 64-bit version of our ActiveX control. This was made possible by twinBASIC, a new development environment providing backward compatibility with existing VB6/VBA projects and offering significant improvements over the VB6 IDE. A year of hard work is behind us, and now we can provide a new modern edition of our grid control for real 64-bit development in such environments as Microsoft Office and twinBASIC.</div>
<div class="NewsPara">The modern edition of the control also provides an improvement in appearance. The traditional 3D border of the control is now automatically drawn using the OS visual styles if they are available in the application, creating a sleek and harmonious look in the modern versions of Windows:</div>
