        <p>I am a 1984 Graduate of <a href="http://www.lbwcc.edu/cms/page.aspx?pageid=186">MacArthur State Technical College</a> (The name has now been changed to Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, MacArthur Campus) from which I earned an <a href="images/degree.jpg">Associate in Applied Technology Degree</a> in Drafting and Design Technology.</p>
        <p>I have since been employed continuously in the steel fabrication business, serving as detailer, checker, project manager, estimator and engineering manager.</p>
        <p>In February of 1998 I opened BB/SDI armed with a drawing board, a few tools, a list of contacts and 14 years experience in all phases of steel fabrication.</p>

        <p>Since 1998, I have successfully completed projects that have ranged from 20 to 800 tons.</p>

ASteel 3D</a>, <a href="http://www.tekla.com/US/PRODUCTS/STEEL-DETAILING/Pages/Default.aspx">Tekla Structures</a>, and <a href="http://www.steelware.com/">Steelware Version 5</a> to produce my work and <a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro.html">Adobe Acrobat Professional</a> to convert my drawings into a customer friendly format such as PDF, TIFF, or JPEG.</p>

        <p>Mr. Bowden, thank you for allowing me to work on this project. Please feel free to comment on aspects of the design and content arrangement. I built this design/page entirely from scratch except for the drawing in the header, which I found using Google. Currently, the links are not valid, but if you would like to progress with this, I will turn the design into a functioning website for you to browse.</p>
        <p>In the event that you would like to use this, I have several suggestions. First, I would like to replace the drawing in the header with a piece of one of your actual drawings. Second, any more information or filler content that you can give would help. Specifically things like a more detailed history of BB/SDI or a broader introduction for the home page, how many projects you have worked on in all, quotes from satisfied customers, etc. It may be that you would just prefer to keep everything on the front page. If so, that's completely fine, and then you would not need to add additional information. Third, I would like to add an "About Me" page with your picture on it and a brief summary of your life and your family.</p>
        <p>I would like to "power" the website with Wordpress, which, although famous for being a great blogging tool, can be as un-blog-like as you want. I would basically only use the pages functionality unless you are interested in posting occasional updates, such as on projects you're working on or whatever, but I have a feeling that you aren't.</p>
