The Senator Group is the UK’s largest office furniture manufacturer with a turnover in excess of £170 Million and a global presence. We have worked with Senator since 2005 years developing numerous digital and online solutions.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">As part of a digital strategy we devised for The Senator Group, we’ve developed a series of sites for each of their key brands [Senator, Allermuir and Torasen], a new and fully bespoke digital asset management systems, and this new corporate site.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">It became evident, during the strategising process, that their corporate information wasn’t being given the prominence it merited as it was tucked away in the ‘about us’ sections in sites that were focused on products. This drove the decision to create separate sites for each product brand and for the corporate site, which features in-depth content such as their sustainability measures, staff stories, design process and global presence.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">Established in 1993, Uform are a market leading kitchen door and component supplier trading throughout the UK and Ireland from their base in Northern Ireland. The company was recently listed in the Sunday Times International Track 200 of leading UK businesses.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We designed and developed a bespoke B2B ecommerce platform for Uform which integrates with their Sage ERP for live stock, customer accounts and customer specific pricing. The platform allows trade users, such as kitchen fitters and kitchen resellers, to build large orders of entire kitchens made up of many components. The bespoke user interface we designed is based on a spreadsheet type approach which enables fast order entry with ‘quick view’ pop-ups for product overview information and the full product specifications accessed by clicking the product codes. Comprehensive account management functionality allows users to manage back orders, split order and multiple delivery addresses as well as accessing order history and invoices. Sales through the site grew from just under £140,000 in the first month of launch, to over £1,900,000 per month by the end of the first year.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">Established in 1798, Boodles is an iconic British brand which designs, manufactures and retails fine jewellery through its boutiques in prestigious locations which include Harrods, The Savoy and Bond Street.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We have designed and developed a bespoke EPOS solution for Boodles, named Silk2, which provides access to all product data. The system manages transfers, sales and customer accounts and integrates with their Sage X3 ERP solution for live stock data and pricing.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">The Senator Group is the UK’s largest office furniture manufacturer with a turnover in excess of £200 Million, more than 1,000 staff and a global presence. We have worked with Senator for over 19 years developing numerous digital and online solutions.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">As part of a new digital strategy we help Senator to devise, we’ve developed a new and completely bespoke portal to manage and access all their digital assets.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">The portal is a secure online repository for all their product and marketing assets including downloads of all images, CAD blocks, Revits, Sketchups and documents as well as an ordering function for fabric samples.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">Permissions are assigned to different user types, from internal sales and dealers [access all files] onto architects/designers and the end user [restricted] with activity logged. A Pinterest style mood board function allows users to collate any image and save them in project folders.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">We have designed and developed a large scale B2B e-commerce platform which integrates with Prestige’s ERP system for live stock and customer specific pricing. Built on Umbraco Commerce the site incorporates a wealth of features including account management, quick order, a comprehensive favourites function, filtering, advanced search and marketing resources section.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">Timco is one of the UK’s largest importers and wholesalers of screws, fixings, fasteners, nails and power tool accessories. Their customers are typically builders merchants and independent hardware retailers as well as larger trade clients.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">A large scale B2B e-commerce implementation which integrates with TIMco’s Sage X3 ERP system for stock and customer specific pricing data, Goldvision CRM for customer accounts and an Agility PIM server for product information and images. The site incorporates a host of sophisticated features including account management, quick shop, saved lists, account specific prices with quantity price breaks, filtered search and advanced search, to name just a few. Sales through the site have grown to over £40M annually, over 60% of their total turnover.</p>

Survitec is the globally trusted name in critical safety and survival solutions.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We have worked with the Survitec Group since 2012 supporting their online presence across all their sites. We have recently upgraded their main corporate site, which we also developed, from Umbraco Version 8 to Version 13 and integrated the Perfion PIM solution for product management.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">The business has built a very strong reputation over the last 18 years with high quality fit outs and refurbishments for clients including Bruntwood, the NHS, Mason Partners and Motor Range.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">The latest Amspec website, which is the second we’ve designed and developed for them, is built on the Umbraco CMS which gives the client full control of all content. The Ui is built around large scrolling pages with jump links to each section. The site is media rich Ui featuring video and animations.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">Premier Workwear are a leading manufacturer of workwear for the hospitality, health and beauty sectors. We have worked with Premier since 2007 building B2B and B2C sites for the core and various sub brands.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We have designed and developed a bespoke solution for Premier using Umbraco which includes a full catalogue of products with a wealth of information and assets. The long scrolling page style product pages include a carousel image gallery, colour swatches, stock availability - from UK and EU warehouses [for logged in users] - a suite of downloads including photography, specifications, brochure and sell sheets, certifications, fabric information, size guides and associated products. The ‘hero’ drop down menus allow a user to navigate to all pages through a tabbed approach which also previews a product on rollover. There is a comprehensive marketing resource section with downloadable digital assets and a shopping cart function to allow resellers to order brochures and swatches.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">Crewsaver is recognised as the world’s leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of high-performance survival technology and marine safety equipment. Whenever you see a lifejacket, it’s almost certainly a Crewsaver product. The company works in collaboration with the RNLI, KNRM, SNSM and elite athletes to develop innovative lifejacket ranges for commercial and leisure use, which is under the Yak brand. Crewsaver is part of the global Survitec Group which has over 3,000 employees across 96 countries and is the world leader in critical safety and survival solutions.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We have worked with the Survitec Group since 2012, supporting their online presence across all their sites. As part of a program to upgrade their sites from Umbraco Version 8 to Version 13 we have recently upgraded the Crewsaver site and integrated it with the Perfion PIM solution for product management. The PIM is integrated with all the sites to provide a ‘single source of truth’ for all their product data.</p>

As well as a strong reputation for the quality of their products and of manufacture, Premier offer a broad colour palette, to help businesses reinforce their brand personality through uniform choices.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">The Reprime website delivers a content-rich user experience by providing a wealth of product information within a bespoke Ui. The site is built on the Umbraco platform and integrates with their Sage ERP for stock availability. A large marketing resources section allows resellers to access image libraries as well as printed and digital promotional materials.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">The Senator Group is the UK’s largest office furniture manufacturer with a turnover in excess of £200 Million, more than 1,000 staff and a global presence. We have worked with Senator for over 19 years developing numerous digital and online solutions.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">Senator launched a new consumer brand ‘Allermuir Home’ to bring ranges of its design-led Allermuir commercial furniture brand to a new domestic audience. The brand aims to meet the new demand for working at home with stylish and performance led furniture.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We have designed and developed a new B2C ecommerce solution for Allermuir Home using Umbraco and Umbraco Commerce.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">HP are one of the world’s largest technology businesses with revenues in excess of $100 billion. Their devops team, based in Newcastle, develops and manages IT solutions such as the universal credit platform for the DWP. We have been an approved supplier to HP since 2009.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We carried out a consultancy exercise to rationalise the key messages for the devops offering distilling them into 5 key attributes. We then developed a strategy, sub brand logo, strapline, marketing collateral, a corporate video and advertisements to promote the service with HPE, to government departments and other potential commercial clients.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">Wigan Youth Zone is Europe’s largest and houses a sports arena with climbing wall, basketball courts, five-a-side football pitches, dance studio, gym, media room, recording studio, cafeteria and mentoring rooms all manned by a staff of 50 to support the town's teenagers.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">bd2 undertook an in-depth process with stakeholders and users to identify a set of brand values and to research target audience influences before developing a new marque which is based on letterforms from the initials to suggest dynamic direction, positivity and connectivity.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We developed a full brand guidelines document which included designs for all applications of the brand.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We became a patron and donated all our work for the youth zone as part of our commitment to support local charities.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">LDL Lighting designs and manufactures complete lighting solutions using the latest in lighting design technology. All sectors are covered including commercial offices, large residential and the public sector.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">
It quickly became apparent, during our research and workshop process, that the existing company name which was ‘Light Distribution Ltd’ gave a false impression of its activities suggesting a distributor not a manufacturer. We re-branded the company as ‘LDL Lighting’
with a new logo, strapline and visual identity which has been rolled out across all corporate communications and marketing collateral including the design and development of a new website.

<p class="font-secondary">A full brand identity guidelines manual has also been produced to define the brand and its use.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">Sherrington’s is a new bar offering a premium range of craft beers and gins sourced from the UK’s leading independent breweries and distilleries.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">The brand name harks back to the building’s days as a hardware shop named ‘Sherrington’s’. This provides the theme for the brand identity which has a distinctly retro feel in terms of the graphics with a custom drawn font and a shop sign badge device.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">The interiors, also designed by bd2, are inspired by the bars of Manchester’s Northern Quarter with an industrial feel, exposed brick, steel beams and re-purposed packaging to extend the overall theme.</p>

<p class="font-secondary">With a property portfolio of over 2.3m sq ft, Network Space is one of the north west’s leading property developers specialising in industrial and office premises. Network Space was recently ranked as the number one SME in an insider north west magazine poll.</p>
<p class="font-secondary">We were approached by Langtree to re-brand their commercial property division as 'Network Space'. The new logo uses dynamic shapes to suggest 3 dimensional spaces, structures, connections, direction and expansion. The brand has been rolled out across all marketing communications and defined within the new brand guidelines manual we developed.</p>
