Ziel des Vereins ist es, die Kältetechnik durch technisch-wissenschaftliche Forschung weiter voranzutreiben. Dabei berücksichtigt der Forschungsrat auch die aktuelle Gesetzgebung. Vor diesem Hintergrund sind neue Technologien – und damit neue Komponenten und Betriebsstoffe – gefragt.
