HTTP Kodu 200 OK

Pakistan BIM Council is a Standard Organization for Building Information Modeling
as well as Corporate Training Providers to Individuals and to Industry based on the
World wide best practices and Standards.

What is BIM

You will be wondering as everyone, that what is Building Information Modeling - BIM ?
so have a little description on it.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process involving the generation and
management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics
of places. And it gives you 15% to 40% cut off in cost.

Building Information Models (BIMs) are files (often but not always in proprietary
formats and containing proprietary data) which can be exchanged or networked to
support decision-making about a place.

Currently BIM is used by individuals, businesses and government agencies who plan,
design, construct, operate and maintain diverse physical infrastructures, from water,
wastewater, electricity, gas, refuse and communication utilities to roads, bridges and
ports, from houses, apartments, schools and shops to offices, factories, warehouses
and prisons, etc.

Take a look at links below, to know more about;

Benefits of BIM

Quick Start

It gives you quick start than the other traditional ways, as BIM performs 6 - 7 tasks
while performing single, like generating plan only will give you all elevations, required
sections as may as you want, 3D views, Perspectives, Schedule and BOQ's within minimal
time.

Better Collaboration

While creation of all the Models we can Collaborate between all the disciplines like;
Architecture, Structure & MEP and can have and resolve all the issues like clashes
and others. By doing this we can save time and can make our model and site risk free.
At the end it saved a lot of time and expensive risks.

Accuracy

As in the model we incorporate each and every necessary details and with the power of
collaboration we can achieve high level of accuracy. Which will help us to fasten up
the hassle free construction. As well as we get accurate schedules, BOQs, references,
drawings and other required details. At the end it again saved time and risks.

Risk Reduction

1- Crowd behavior and fire & safety modelling capability enable designs to be
optimized for public safety.

2- Asset managers can use the 3D model to enhance operational safety.

3- Contractors can minimize construction risks by reviewing complex details or
procedures before going on site.

Less Rework

Integrating multi-disciplinary design inputs using a BIM models allows interface
issues to be identified and resolved in advance of construction, eliminating the cost
and time impacts of redesign. The model also enables new and existing assets to
be integrated seamlessly. Less rework saves a lot of time.

Better Planning

BIM models provides us a huge amount of expensive and accurate data as well as
Information. And so with that data we can do complex planning in a better way in an
hassle free and fearless environment.

Reduce Waste

As it is said that every 1 Dollar from 3 spent in Construction project goes waste.
With the power of BIM exact quantity take-offs mean that materials are not
over-ordered. Precise programme scheduling enables just-in-time delivery of materials
and equipment, reducing potential for damage. Use of the BIM model for automated
fabrication of equipment and components enables more efficient materials handling
and waste recovery.

Sustainability

Using BIM models we can do different type of analysis like energy, lightning, wind roses
and many others sort of, accurately and easily. This ability gives us chance to achieve
Sustainability in a variety of ways. And With sustainability we saves energy and life
span of building.

Improvements

BIM makes possible swift and accurate comparison of different design options, enabling
development of more efficient, cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
Members of the project team can feed back information about the performance of processes
and items of equipment, driving improvements on subsequent projects.

Building Lifecycle

As BIM Model comes with all major and minor details of the project.
This makes building lifecycle easier than ever. As BIM model will be available with you
in a soft form, so whenever you need any information it’s just a click away.
Information like; products information MEP routings Architectural and Structural element
positions. So its gives the power of maintainability and rework possibilities.

And also for the next time you will not have to visit the Site to see the possibilities
of renovations / changes. You will have the site in your pocket. Access it whenever you
want it, even where ever you are. On the end you saved time and money for a whole life.

Fast Project Delivery

As by reviewing all the BIM capabilities on the end what you can get is Fast project delivery.
